Help and support

A little help for your garden.

Find your way around Pebble’s Day, or get in touch with Faberon Labs. No account is needed, and the turtle has no feeding schedule or care obligations to keep up with.

Open your garden controls

  1. Double-tap the garden, or invoke its accessible World controlsaction, to open weather and settings.
  2. Select Choose a city and search for a place. If a place is already selected, choose Change place instead.
  3. Choose your result and select Done to return to the garden.

Searching for a place does not require permission to use your device’s current location. Time, daylight and weather follow the place you choose.

Use your current location, if you want to

Use current location asks iOS for a one-shot location fix. Its precision follows your iOS permission and the available fix; the app does not continuously track location in the background. You can change location permission or Precise Location in iOS Settings and continue to choose a place manually.

If permission is denied or a fix is unavailable, open the controls and choose a city instead. Read the app privacy policyfor details about location and weather requests.

Refresh weather and understand offline readings

Open the controls and choose Refresh weather to request a new reading for the selected place. Weather comes from Open-Meteo and needs an internet connection. Temperature units in the garden follow your device’s regional settings.

When a refresh cannot finish, the app may retain its last successful reading and label it cached. The reading’s timestamp describes the weather data, not a guarantee that it was just downloaded. Without a saved reading, weather can remain unavailable until a request succeeds.

Check the chosen place, connection and reading status before trying again. If Simulated weather is shown, leave World preview to return to live weather. Refresh is unavailable while a preview is active.

The garden is a stylized interpretation of modelled weather. Its snow, water and scenery are not measurements of conditions at your exact position. Use an appropriate official forecast or alert service for safety decisions.

Choose a season or gentler motion

Open Garden settings to choose a season, or leaveFollow the location selected. Snow follows the weather, so selecting winter alone does not guarantee snow on the ground.

Turn on Gentler motion for a quieter presentation. The garden also respects the system’s Reduce Motion setting.

Shine a light after dark

At night, touch and drag in the garden to aim a flashlight. Lift your finger to let it fade. Night follows your chosen place’s daylight and local time, which may differ from the time where your device is located. The turtle naturally rests after dark.

Visit a different moment

In the controls, open World preview and chooseWeather, Sequence orFolding. Select Watch preview; playback starts after the controls close. The playback bar lets you replay, pause or edit the preview. Select Done to restore the live garden.

Preview weather is simulated. A folding preview demonstrates the interaction without measuring a physical device’s hinge.

iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo

Pebble’s Day requires iOS or iPadOS 27.0 or later. A conventional iPhone or iPad does not need a hinge to show the garden. iPhone Duo’s hinge and adaptive display features require iOS 27.1 or later.

Contact Faberon Labs

Email contact@faberonlabs.com for help, feedback or a feature request. To help us understand an issue, include:

  • Your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, and Pebble’s Day version.
  • What you were trying to do and the steps that led to the issue.
  • What you expected and what happened instead.
  • An optional screenshot, with any sensitive information removed.

Please omit precise location and other sensitive information. For a weather question, a city or region and the reading’s approximate local time are usually enough.
